This milestone reflects Chroma’s commitment to sustainable tourism, community upliftment, and ethical governance across its portfolio.
A Shared Commitment to Sustainable Travel
All three properties earned the accreditation after a rigorous audit of their sustainability performance across ten internationally recognized pillars. These include:
Good Employment

Reducing Waste and Caring for Climate
Caring for Water and Reducing Pollution
Management & Information
Each hotel demonstrated its unique approach to sustainability aligned with Filinvest Hospitality’s four-pillar sustainability strategy: exceptional service delivery, inclusive growth, environmental responsibility, and business resilience.

Crimson Resort & Spa Mactan has implemented long-term biodiversity and climate initiatives, as well as cultural programs that allow guests to engage with the local heritage meaningfully.
Quest Hotel & Conference Center Cebu integrates energy-efficient operations with staff empowerment and local sourcing practices, enriching both guest experiences and community livelihood.
Quest Plus Conference Center Clark stands out for pioneering green meetings and event practices, as well as engaging in community partnerships that promote inclusive local development in Central Luzon.
A Culture of Mindful Hospitality

This achievement strengthens Chroma’s broader mission of Mindful Hospitality—where responsible operations enhance guest journeys while creating positive impacts for people, places, and the planet. Sustainability is embedded in the company’s EESG (Economic, Environmental, Social, and Governance) practices, which are continually assessed and refined to align with global best practices.
“These accreditations are a reflection of our team’s dedication to doing things better—sustainably, ethically, and with purpose,” said Dave Romano, Director for Organizational Development and Culture at Chroma Hospitality. “Through our Good Travel Seal certifications, we reaffirm our role as stewards of our environment and partners to our communities. Having a third-party auditor offers us an objective assessment of our ESG performance as a company. This independent verification significantly bolsters the reliability of our ESG information, making it demonstrably more trustworthy for our stakeholders.”
Looking Ahead
Chroma Hospitality, in partnership with Filinvest Hospitality Corporation, has defined 11 action points across its four sustainability pillars to ensure long-term viability and impact. The group continues to assess its performance and set goals for improvement and risk mitigation. A comprehensive materiality reassessment involving external stakeholders is planned for 2024, reinforcing its commitment to accountability and transparency.
